Lovely wooden treasure box with latch. Finished in a pale butter cream color with folk art tole bird and flower designs in red and blue. Hand painted by my Mom, Grammy BJ. Measures approximately 5" long x 3½" x 2½" high. Lid is hinged and there is a small latch in the front. Signed by the artist on the bottom, this is a one-of-a-kind item you'll treasure. (note: the chalkware is not included, but it does hold the box open quite nicely, doesn't it???)

Meet the Artist:
My Mom (BJ or Grammy BJ) is a talented artist and has won numerous awards and ribbons for her artwork. Much of her work is Folk Art, Tole painting, Rosemaling, Pennsylvania Dutch, and Primitive Folk painting. She's 89 and going strong... with a real passion for her art.
Mom broke her hip on Valentine's Day 2008. Painting was the last thing on her mind for a while, but she's back on her feet and doing terrific. I hope you enjoy her art as much as I do.
