Capitol Cook Book ~ 158 pages, which includes an alphabetical recipe index at the end of the cookbook.
Published by Texian Press, compiled and edited by Sue Creighton. A terrific
Texas collection of "Favorite Family Recipes of Texas Governors, Senators
and Other State Officials". From the inside of the dust jacket:
"With few exceptions, there are recipes from every living former Governor's
wife, dating back to Mrs. Dan Moody in 1926, each lady Senator, the wife of each
state Senator, and the wives of state officials who have served Texas since 1960
- up to an including the 63rd Legislature of 1973."
Condition as shown.
Some edge wear and small edge tears to dust jacket. Book is cloth covered with
green boards, light wear to corners and spine ends else good condition, previous
owners name handwritten in pencil on ffep. Some scattered spotting through
page 22
else pages clean and unmarked. Overall
good condition.
