Vintage softcover cookbook ~ A Child's Christmas Cookbook ~ 40 pages. Not dated. Published in conjunction with the exhibition, Once Upon A Christmas, at the Denver Art Museum in Denver Colorado. The exhibition and the cookbook was sponsored by the Denver Art Museum Volunteers, and dedicated to the warm, nostalgic memory of an old-fashioned Christmas. Written by Betty Chancellor and designed by Kay Obering. Illustrations are from Thomas Nast and the St. Nicholas Books, originally published in the late Victorian period (the illustrations are fabulous... the cover is just a teaser).

Children will love this cookbook, and you'll enjoy helping them. Includes treats for kids to make that everyone will like: Ticky-Tacky Taffy, Breakfast for a Tired Mother, Christmas Cones (Xmas tree ornaments made with ice cream cones), Shish-ke-Bobbles, Honeypops, Christmas Coffee (with chocolate and milk and vanilla), Tiddleywink Tea and Toast.... and more.
