Cloth Mache Sculpture Instructions Metalizing Bronzing Ceramic Finish
Vintage Cloth Mache
Instructions and projects from Craft Course Publishers ( H-176 or 30-11988 ) ~
Cloth-Mache Sculptures and Finishes ~ dated 1968, 23 pages, designs by Marian
and Joe Tofel. People have been making draped madonnas, angels and wise men for
years, using starch, wheat paste and other glues. This is not a new craft,
rather new variations, subjects and finishes are presented here. When finished,
your pieces will resemble metallic sculpture or ceramic pieces by following
certain basic rules. Well written and illustrated instructions with lots of
ideas to get you started. Try your hand at creating Greek Warriors, Three Musketeers,
Mother Goose characters, Cowboys and Indians, even old-fashioned
turn-of-the-century figures. You can even create bas-relief for wall sculptures.
