Vintage Cross Stitch Patterns from the Danish Handcraft Guild ~ Cross-Stitch Patterns in Color
~ dated 1974, 79 pages, designs by Gerda Bengtsson. Includes three groups of the kind of cross-stitch designs for which Miss Bengtsson is renowned:
- Magnificent collection of Wild Rose designs
- Patterns from countryside and town based on changing seasons
- Charming motifs of flowers and plants in pots arranged in windows
Each design is reproduced in color from the original cross-stitch work
with accompanying diagrams to recreate the lovely designs
stitch-by-stitch and color-by-color. Altogether there are nearly three
dozen patterns, offering an unlimited variety of possibilities for
different projects, including: doilies, tablecloths, bell pulls,
pillows, wall pictures and more.
A bit of wear wear, front cover is creased, a bit of foxing inside
front/back covers and edges of first/last couple of pages else pages
clean, (it all sounds much worse than it is), binding is secure, overall
good to very good condition.
