Hearts and Flowers - Rare Band Sampler Embroidery Pattern Pat Rozendal
Terrific 1999
Embroidery Instructions and Band Sampler Pattern by Pat Rozendal ~ Hearts and
Flowers ~ 78 pages. Extremely hard to find item, well illustrated throughout.
Designed to be a unique sampling of techniques and stitches. Directed to the
advanced stitcher, it features (along with the usual counted thread stitches
that are found on traditional band samplers) stitches like Lazy Daisy, Woven
Spiders, Triple Leviathan, a Guilloche Variation, and Rhodes Hearts, There are
also bands of lace, beaded fringe, Goldwork, and pulled thread. With the
addition of personal items like special lace and charms, there is the
opportunity to create a sampler sure to become an heirloom. The illustration of
the completed design includes heart lace, some tatted edging, costume jewelry
and a Black Hills pendant that belonged to Pat Rozendal's mother. The finished
size of the sampler is 7" by about 17-1/2" on 25 count linen. The
sampler is 176 threads wide and about 458 threads tall, depending on the size of
your charms and the width of your lace.
Condition as shown, slight wear, binding
secure, very good to near excellent condition.
