Huge Vintage 30s Floral Celluloid Buckle Blue Roses on White Leaves

Large vintage floral celluloid buckle. Not signed but the patent number on the fasteners is dated February 22, 1938. Marvelous ornate design of blue roses in an openwork field of white leaves. Quite massive, the buckle measures approximately 3-1/4" by 2-3/8" and varying from 3/16" to 3/8" thick. There is a surface crack across the leaves in one corner, however, this flaw does not extend thru the buckle. The reverse side is completely intact. Exceptional vintage costume jewelry accessory item.
