Vintage 70s Christmas Ornaments Perforated Paper Push Outs Great for K
Vintage Paper Crafts from
Scholastic Magazines ~ The Arrow Book of Holiday Hang-Ups ~ dated 1974, by Bill
Hogarth. Festive collection of bright holiday ornaments ready for you to press
out, fold, and glue together for display on a christmas tree, table or fireplace
mantel. Made on heavy card stock paper, there are 12 hang-up designs that are
easy to put together... but be sure to read the directions with each because
they're easy but tricky!! Push out shapes, then fold and glue the tabs in the
order they are lettered. Use a white glue (water cleanup!!) but not until each
fold and tab is ready (or you'll make a mess!!). To hang, use string or
ribbon... or nylon thread if you want a nearly invisible hanger. Some of the
designs can be used together, and one can even be turned inside out.
I find it amazing that after 37 years these hang-ups are still waiting for
someone to put them together! This will be a great Christmas Holiday project to
share with the kids! Have fun!
Condition: Some discoloration to the covers (sun fade mostly) and something or
other on the front cover, pages inside are clean and secure... and nothing has
been punched out!!... overall very good condition.
